Here's my thoughts for today.
Well, before we played, I thought that the percentage of us getting bronze was quite high. Well, mostly because our intonation needs lots of working on, many parts are messy and unclean and most importantly, our co-operation needed working on too... My original thought was that we'd be lucky to get a silver. But after we played, my expectation changed. Well, surprising, we were more in tune, though there were parts which we didn't do very well in, we managed to take note of many stuff pointed out to us. Cool, huh? Most importantly, we gave our best. Hmm, then I thought, with this, we definitely can get a silver. However, there were still parts that was rushed, not together and not really in tune so, it is highly impossible for the gold with honours. Moreover, today for our AM segment, it think 1 band got gold, 4 got silver and 5 got bronze. If Maris Stella High had not played in this segment, we could have a higher chance in getting gold. Wow. I don't understand the judges' adjudication. Kelly Tang's written score should be followed no matter how nice we played right? Mr Wong focused so much on the articulation and ahem could do better with nice sound and togetherness. Hmm, maybe I am being jealous.
Next, hooray for UNITY!!! Congratulation on getting Silver! =] That proves that everyone can get whatever they want as long as they really want it badly and work hard for it.
Sigh~ Regretting. xx was right, I should have brought my flute home. There is a long band break and I really WILL miss my flute! ]={ I WANT MY FLUTE!!!
Yay, heading off to TMart later to stock up on titbits for tomo's SPORTS DAY. Well, Sports Day is actually a class picnic for Celine and me. Hehe... Understand, right? =]
Maybe visiting Tampines 1 tomorrow. It's officially open tomorrow leh... I wonder if there'll be a crowd. Hmm, I want go shopping! I am soooooo into watches, bags and SHOES nowadays. Sad, I am broke. =[
Okay, shall jabber to you next time. Ohya, today, jq, ls and I were just (brainlessly) discussing who'll we'd think was going to be BM and DM blah blah... Stuff like that.
And, apparently, there seem to be more nice cars around Tampines. That day I spot a Nissan Two sitter. The other day I spot a black mercedes... Hmm, maybe one of them belongs to you...-.-
Last thing, TO ALL THE PEOPLE WHO ARE CURRENTLY SHORTER THAN EXPECTED. Daniel said some inspirational stuff: Don't worry about being short. Cause all the nutrients get to your brains FIRST. (as in earlier. Get it?)
